This is a museum quality vintage Navajo very important turquoise and coral thick and heavy silver buckle handmade the famous artist Wilson Begay. This buckle is just amazing as the intricacy and detailing is phenomenal. The buckle inlcudes one side of three Morenci turquoise stones while the other side consists of three large chunky coral stones. Seperating the stones is an amazing hand carved dancing kachina. Bordering the very heavy silver buckle are deep silver wave works. Located throughout the stones are impeccable silver raindrops. This buckle measures around 3-1/4" X 2-3/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-1/2" or less. The stones measure around 5/8" x 1/4". Sterling silver. Signed by Navajo artist, Wilson Begay . Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 107 grams.
