This is a tremendous vintage Navajo huge turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This museum quality piece is one of the finest squash blossom necklaces we have collected in the past year. The necklace contains 11 graduating colossal Old Kingman turquoise stones with the largest measuring a whopping 1-7/8" X 1-1/4". That amazing naja pendant is amazing all in its own as it is gigantic measuring around 4" X 4-1/2". Resting throughout the necklace are incredible large round silver beads with end lighter colored stones and a traditional silver clasp. These turquoise stones are even more rare as they are from the older deposit Old kingman turquoise mine. The pictures of this necklace do not do the piece justice, as it is just impeccably large. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . Signed by Navajo artist, (snake). The length of the necklace measures around 38". Sturdy 366 grams.
