This is a museum quality vintage Navajo green turquoise silver concho belt. This incredible concho belt consists of 11 sturdy and thick silver conchos with 6 being butterfly conchos and the other 5 being large oval shaped conchos. The larger conchos each measure around 3" X 2-1/2". Located in the center of each of the conchos are beautiful dome shaped green Royston turquoise stones. The surrounding silver works are impeccable consisting of repoussed shells, sun works, and half moon patterns. That buckle is magnificent and contains four more amazing Royston turquoise stones. The buckle measures around 3-1/4" X 3". What I really love about this belt are those beautiful leather backings on each concho. The stones measure around 5/8" x 3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Doug Magnus . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 33-1/4" and 41-3/4". Sturdy 504 grams.
