This is a tremendous vintage Navajo turquoise and silver leaf squash blossom necklace. This remarkable necklace contains some of the largest Number 8 turquoise stones we have seen. The largest stone measures a whopping 2" X 1-1/4". That magnificent large silver pendant measures a mind blowing 4-3/8" X 3", WOW! Surrounding the pendant are wonderful large hand carved silver leaves, shells, sun stampings and a thick silver rope. Resting throughout the bottom section of the necklace are 8 incredible hand carved silver leaf squashes that are beautifully curved for a more realistic look. The necklace contains stunning round silver beads with a thick traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Kenny Ray. The length of the necklace measures around 32". Sturdy 185 grams.
