This is a magnificent vintage Navajo turquoise and silver large silver bead necklace. This remarkable necklace contains a huge gigantic hand carved dancing eagle kachina silver pendant that measures a whopping 5-1/2" X 4", WOW! The intricacy of the silver works on the pendant consist of feather patterns, ropes, sun stampings, shell stampings, ropes, and plant works. Also located on the really large silver pendant are 6 beautiful turquoise stones, 4 being old Blue Gem turquoise and the eyes being Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The larger stones measure around 5/8" X 3/8". I just adore this necklace and all of the detailing it consists of. Resting on the rest of the necklace are phenomenal large handmade round silver beads that each measure around 5/8" in diameter. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, G. Hale. The length of the necklace measures around 34". Sturdy 145 grams.
