This is a museum quality vintage Navajo inlaid large silver squash blossom necklace handmade by the artist, WIll Singer. Will is the brother of the very famous artist, Thomas Singer. This beautiful squash blossom necklace is comprised of 13 phenomenal inlaid large waterbirds, 12 being the squashes. Each squash measures around 2-1/4" X 1-1/8" and consists of remarkable chip inlaid turquoise and coral stones. The detailing of each bird is just fascinating. Located at the bottom of the necklace is a larger inlaid waterbird naja pendant that measures around 3-1/4" X 2-3/4" and consists of more increidble chip inlaid turquoise and coral stones. Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are superior handmade round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+ . Signed by Navajo artist, Will Singer. The length of the necklace measures around 36". Sturdy 233 grams.
