This is an incredible Navajo large silver butterfly ring. This amazing ring contains a large handmade silver butterfly that consists of outstanding silver workmanship and a center chunky turquoise stone. The center stone appears to be from the wonderful Pilot Mountain turquoise mine. The stamp works on the butterfly consist of amazing teepee patterns, sun stampings and cloud works. Even the thick and wide triple silver shank consists of incredible stampings. The stamp works on the shanks consist of teepee patterns and channel works. The center stone measures around 5/8" x 3/8". The ring face measures around 1-1/2" x 1-3/4". Signed by Navajo artist, CJ. The ring size is around 10. Cir. 1970's+. Sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 16 grams.
