This is a superlative vintage Zuni inlaid silver necklace. This remarkable necklace contains fascinating inlaid stones and shells that consist of turquoise, onyx, mother of pearl, yellow shell, and coral. Dangling from the bottom of the large silver pendant are five outstanding intricate teepee shaped silver inlaid pendants with the largest measuring around 1" X 5/8". Located throughout the entire large 4-3/4" X 2". Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are long silver links that run into a thick and sturdy traditional silver clasp. The silver works located throughout the necklace consist of sun stampings, raindrops, shells, and ropes. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Zuni artist, LM. The length of the necklace measures around 17-1/2". Sturdy 56 grams.
