This is an incredible vintage Navajo single stone silver bracelet. This fascinating bracelet contains a large hand carved roadrunner bird that is hand carved into a beautiful vibrant blue turquoise stone. Surrounding the stone are phenomenal ropes, sun stampings, dotted works, and wave works. Running down the ends of the thick cuff bracelet are 3D silver yucca plants that are extremely detailed. Bordering the edges of the wide graduating silver cuff bracelet are protruding edges that consist of sun stampings and wave works. What I love about this bracelet is that the center of the stone consists of the New Mexico state bird which is a roadrunner and the New Mexico state flower which is the yucca plant. The bracelet is absolutely beautiful. The center stone measures around 1-5/8" x 1-1/4". The width of the bracelet measures around 2-3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Chei Elmo. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/4" with an additional 1-1/4" gap. Sturdy 106 grams.
