This is a magnificent vintage Navajo large turquoise silver concho belt. This remarkable belt consists of 11 outstanding large oval shaped silver conchos that each measure around 2" X 1-1/2". Located on each concho are stunning stamp works that consist of sun stampings, dotted works, and line segments. Resting in the center of the conchos are amazing center Blue Gem turquoise stones that each measure around 3/8" X 1/4". The buckle on the belt matches each of the conchos with the design patterns and turquoise stone but measures a bit larger measuring around 2-5/8" X 2". Signed by Navajo artist, E. Wylie. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 35-1/2" and 40". Sturdy 186 grams.
