This is a tremendous Navajo large single stone silver bracelet. This incredible bracelet contains a large center Gilbert turquoise stone that measures a whopping 2-1/8" X 1-1/2". Bordering the stone are stunning silver works that include two styles of sun patterns with accenting raindrops and a silver rope. Resting at the sides of the thick and sturdy cuff are rows of silver flanks that consist of ropes and thick stems. The carvings that run down the ends of the cuff consist of beautiful stamped plant works, wave patterns, sun works and line segments. I love how the bracelet contains a 5 silver shank cuff that graduates into one wide silver shank towards the ends. The width of the bracelet measures around 2-3/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Herm Smith . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-3/4" with an additional 1-1/4" gap. Sturdy 102 grams.
