This is a museum quality vintage Navajo turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This impeccable necklace contains 17 outstanding hand cut chunky blue to green turquoise stones that appear to be from the wonderful Pilot Mountain turquoise mine. Surrounding each stone are incredible silver ropes with accenting sun patterns. The necklace contains 10 phenomenal silver squashes and a beautiful double silver shank naja pendant. The naja pendant measures around 2-3/4" X 3". Running up the rest of the necklace are incredible hand wrought round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. The average stone measures around 3/4" X 1/2". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 156 grams.
