This is an impressive vintage Navajo turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This impeccable necklace contains 17 outstanding oval shaped Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones with the largest stone measuring around 1/2" X 1/4". The necklace is comprised of 14 phenomenal handmade unique silver squashes and a beautiful triple silver shank naja pendant. The naja pendant measures around 3" X 2-1/4". Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are marvelous handmade round silver beads with an end traditional silver clasp. I love the accenting silver squashes that rest at both ends of the naja pendant, such a beautiful necklace. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Dory Smallcanyon. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 106 grams.
