This is a marvelous vintage Navajo turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This incredible necklace contains 10 impressive handmade silver squashes that consist of a chunky Morenci turquoise stone, detailed carved silver leaves, shells and carved stems. Located at the bottom of the necklace is a large detailed silver naja pendant that consists of more amazing leaves, shells, stems, ropes and four more Morenci turquoise stones. The necklace contains a total of 14 beautiful turquoise stones. Resting throughout the majority of the necklace are amazing hand wrought round silver beads with amazing old natural patina with an end traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Chapo. The length of the necklace measures around 27". Sturdy 102 grams.
