This is a magnificent vintage Navajo turquoise silver bolo tie handmade by the famous artist Pete Sierra who worked directly under Charles Loloma as his student. This wonderful bolo tie consists of inlaid Morenci turquoise stones. Located in the center of the fascinating egg shaped silver bolo is a hand stamped buffalo silver section. Bordering the edges of the inlaid turquoise stones on the bolo are deep amazing silver wave works and sun stampings. Resting at the bottom of the wonderful black leather tie are ling silver cones with accenting dangling silver square pendants. The bolo measures around 2-5/8" X 1-3/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Pete Sierra. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 72 grams.
