This is an impressive vintage Zuni inlaid silver bolo tie. This remarkable bolo consists of an intricate inlaid stones and shells that are inlaid into a fascinating scenery. The scenery includes a Zia symbol with clouds as well as monuments, dragonfly and pottery laying in the sand. The inlay consists of mother of pearl, coral, red spiny oyster, and onyx. Bordering the impressive inlaid section are superior sun stampings. The bolo measures around 2-3/4" in diameter while the inlaid section measures around 2-1/2". Resting at the bottom of the 37" thick black leather tie are long silver cones with accenting silver beads. Handmade by artist, Sarah Kanesta. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 55 grams.
