This is a tremendous vintage Santo Domingo large graduating spiny oyster and turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This remarkable necklace contains 12 outstanding large chunky graduating red spiny oyster shells wtih 12 accenting large chunky Royston turquoise stones. The bottom double silver shank naja pendant measures around 3" X 2-3/8". The largest spiny oyster shell measures around 1" X 1". Situated near the ends of the double silver shank naja pendant are wonderful silver raindrops. Located throughout the entire necklace are fabulous handmade round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. The amount of silver beads is just wonderful and so beautiful. I love how the artist put a silver bead in the center of the largest spiny oyster shell. Sterling silver. Handmade by Santo Domingo artist, Esther. The length of the necklace measures around 26".
