This is an impressive vintage Navajo shell silver bracelet. This remarkable bracelet contains a beautiful plethora of rounded, teardrop and teepee shaped shells. The shells consist of mother of pearl and purple spiny oyster shells. The bracelet contains a total of 24 outstanding mother of pearl shells. Situated throughout the shells are impeccable silver works consisting of ropes and raindrops. This bracelet contains a marvelous five silver shank cuff that is sturdy and thick with two of the shanks being ropes. The way the cuff graduates in width towards the center is stunning. The height at the center of the bracelet measures around 2-7/8" while the center at the center of the five silver shank cuff measures around 1-3/4". The center stone measures around 7/8" x 5/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Dean Brown . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/2" with an additional 1" gap. Sturdy 74 grams.
