This is an exceptional vintage Navajo turquoise silver naja pendant necklace. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a superior thick detailed silver naja pendant that measures around 3-1/4" X 2" including the thick and large silver bail. Located on the naja pendant is a stunning oval shaped orange spiny oyster shell. The stamp works on the naja consist of shells, cloud patterns, and x patterns. Running up the necklace are large round silver beads with accenting turquoise stones. Located at the ends are amazing hand cut graduating disc shaped purple spiny oyster shells with an end traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+Billaj. Signed by Navajo artist, Billah . The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 91 grams.
