Eco-friendly Choice Signed Vintage Native American Navajo Blue Diamond Turquoise Sterling Silver Bracelet - Almost Gone [O62MqGJt]
The Blue Diamond turquoise mine, located in central Nevada, was actively mined in the 1950s and is known for producing striking, high-grade turquoise with a deep blue color and a distinctive black or dark brown spiderweb matrix. This rare and valuable turquoise is highly sought after by collectors and jewelers due to its hardness and unique appearance, often resembling the famous Lander Blue turquoise. Though the mine had a relatively short period of active production, its turquoise remains in high demand, making it a prized material in Native American and Southwestern jewelry. Today, Blue Diamond turquoise is considered a rare find, with existing stones primarily coming from old collections and vintage jewelry pieces. The largest stone measures around 1-1/4" x 1/2". The width of the bracelet measures around 1-1/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Virg Reeder. Sterling silver, marked. The inside end to end measures around 6" with an additional 1-1/2" gap. Sturdy 77 grams.
