The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had three children; the eldest being a son , Prince George, and the other two , daughters, Princess Augusta and Princess Mary Adelaide. In 1838, the Duchess of Cambridge wore the original Cambridge Lovers Knot Tiara for the coronation of Queen Victoria in Westminster Abbey.
From the 18th century on, it was passed on to future members of the British royal family and was most famously worn by Princess Diana during her marriage to Prince Charles.
