A lush green pasture in the high desert of northern New Mexico leading to the Sangre de Cristo mountain range - a scene and color often caught only during the monsoonal rains of summer.  This mixed media painting contains layers of acrylic paints, local vintage ephemera anchored by my photography to create a vintage inspired piece of contemporary western art.
