A gorgeous antique cocktail spoon by Asprey & Co London, 1920s. This Art Deco spoon features a stem, has a spoon on one end and a flat, round muddler for crushing your cocktail ingredients at the other end. The spoon bed is inset (deeper than most), we tried to capture this in photos. This spoon has a solid, weighted feel to it and also a magical one. When not in use, the spoon rests perfectly upright on its flat, round muddler. Truly a stunning Art Deco barware piece.

A little bit about this manufacturer: Asprey & Co was established in England in Mitcham, Surrey, in 1781. As the business grew, the company acquired manufacturing facilities and hired silversmiths, goldsmiths, jewellers and watchmakers. Asprey offered classic and contemporary silver pieces – such as sterling silver cocktail shakers, in traditional and contemporary, novel designs such as the Rocket cocktail shaker and many barware accompaniments.

Hallmarks: "Asprey London" and "E.P.N.S" (electroplated nickel silver aka silver-plated in a modern term) can be found on the muddler end

Measurements: A tad over 10" in length (10 1/4" in length)

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with very mild signs of wear or age. The silver-plating is in good condition overall. There's some mild age and what we refer to as general surface wear. There's some very mild tarnish on the muddler end (we have not polished this piece). In short, this spoon/muddler is in good vintage condition and displays beautifully. Truly a stunning Art Deco piece.
