Explore Neiman Marcus "poison" Rocks Glasses Stirrers Gift Boxed [nWH5a10l]
A quick summary about this glassware maker: similar to Culver, Cera used real 22k gold in many of their glassware patterns and were known for creating some of the most popular Mid Century glassware designs. Cera remains one of the most popular vintage brands for MCM glassware excellence and their Poison glassware remains one of their most popular patterns today.
Maker/era: Cera, Mid Century
Hallmarks: All glasses are signed "Neiman Marcus" in Navy Blue (please note: these were made exclusively for Neiman Marcus and bare the Neiman Marcus signature, not a Cera signature).
This set of 6 glasses include: Strychnine, Arsenic, Belladonna, Curare, Hemlock, Cyanide -- and 6 stirring wands
Measurements: Each glass measures approx. 4" tall x 3 1/4" in diameter; the glass stirrers measure 5" in length
Condition: Very, very good vintage condition. The glass clarity is perfect (no cloudiness). The pattern is vibrant. There are a few manufacturing occurrences we see (completely common with Mid Century glassware) including: The gold trim that goes around the poison label of the Curare glass and Stychnine glass didn't get perfectly aligned and there's a micro sliver of white enamel peaking through. The gold trim on the right slide of the Hemlock glass looks ever so slightly "splotchy" due to the gold not getting filled in as heavily. We know this sounds nit picky but again, we like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage glassware. In short, this set is in great vintage condition with a few manufacturing occurrences; this set displays beautifully.
Please note: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, or a "seam" from when the glass was being created, an extra spot of gold or enamel that made it on a clear part of the glass, a "wave" to the glass or random imperfection to the glass, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware).
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. These glasses will be double-boxed, which means a larger, heavier box.
