Beautiful, Sparkly, Signed Vintage Carla 14K Solid Yellow Gold and Cubic Zirconia or Clear Gemstone Leverback Earrings. The stones do not test as diamond or moissanite, but don't quite look like a modern cubic zirconia, so they may be white topaz or any number of other clear stones.
Each earring measures approximately 5/8 of an inch, or about 15.87 millimeters, high, and from front to back, and the faces project about 3/16 of an inch, or approximately 4.7625 millimeters. The stones each measure just under approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 4.75 millimeters, in diameter. The two stones combined total roughly .88 carats estimated set carat weight. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Both earrings are stamped, "14K", on the leverbacks, and signed, "Carla". Also discreetly acid tested as solid 14K gold. Combined weight is approximately 1.44 grams, which includes the cz weight, of course.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the gold from normal wear. No chips to the cubic zirconia. The leverbacks hinges and catches work as designed, one of the ear wires is slightly enlarged but it does not seem to affect the way these wear. Lightly cleaned by hand, but they have not been professionally polished. There is a very discreet acid test mark on one earring.
