Here is a yellow fluorite cluster! This piece is from the Huairou mine in Beijing, China. In the past the Chinese government had regulated mining in this area by allowing entry at intermittent intervals but has now since been “closed”. Yellow is the most abundant color for fluorite from this locale, with blue being uncommon and green and more earth like colors (such as brown) are rare.
