About the Live Edge Thanksgiving Deal Addi Table Set Tool [Ur6goxDG]

The Addi dining table set is made with solid oak wood and semi rare ambrosia maple wood. 

A key feature of the ambrosia maple wood that we use for the live edge top is the beautiful color swirls shown in the wood grain. These patterns are actually the result of a beetle infestation (see the dark "worm holes") and a fungus that the beetles bring with them. 

Each piece of ambrosia maple is unique, so no two of the raw edge tables will look exactly alike.  Note that we do not fill the worm holes in th table, as they are a prominent characteristic of the wood.

I also use live edge ambrosia maple for the tops of the 6 chairs that come with the set. It extends the live edge look throughout the whole dining table set.
