A good antique French Art Deco cold-painted bronze and ivory statue/figure of a jester, by Georges Omerth, circa 1920.

The figure finely modeled as a jester and wearing a jester's hat (motley) and costume, a lute strapped to his back. Both the statue's hands and face are made from carved ivory, and the bronze is finely cold-painted with bronzed & gilt patination, the figure is raised on a circular stepped variegated marble socle. The figure is all original and in good condition.
