A fine antique Art Deco silver & gold cigarette case inset with a ruby, by Hirsch Markowitsch, Tallinn, Estonia, 1930.
A good antique silver case with rose gold monogram and rose gold clasp inset with a cabochon ruby. The case is hallmarked to the gilt interior with the lion passant mark and the silver purity mark for 875 and the goldsmith's stamp for Hirsch Markowitsch.
The case is of very good quality, a useful size and of heavy guage, silver weight is 189 grams, condition is excellent, the case closes tightly & opens easily and there are no dents or damage noted.
