When I started making the Ethereal Space series, I wasn’t thinking about a particular place, but rather the feeling of being outdoors on a warm sunny day. I started by laying in color, responding to that -and then responding to that. Gradually the imagery emerged. My hope is that these paintings will draw the viewer into a magical place of warmth and light.
