Vintage, silver plate, covered, 2.6 quart, serving dish/ buffet stand with glass insert. The set is fully intact. Features very ornate legs, pierced openwork frame and lovely finial. Beautiful item to serve food on your buffet for dinner parties, showers, weddings or holidays.

Measurements: Silverplate frame approx 17" long handle to handle, 12 3/4" long without handles. 8 1/4" wide, 3 1/2" tall without lid, lids add an additional approx 3" to the height. Inside Glass dish measures approx 11 3/4" long x 7 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" deep.

Marks: Pyrex on the glass but no marks on the silverplate

This serving set is in good vintage condition. May have signs of age and use such as light marks and light surface scratches, light smudging. One edge of the lid looks like it might have been slightly bent and then straightened--very hard to capture in pic (not very noticable in person) see last image. Glass has a waved handle but it is a manufacturing defect--I wouldn't consider it a flaw. No obvious damage.
