Elegant, large, silverplate, pedestal bowl with lion feet. The bowl is extra large on top of a column with lion feet that is attached to a base. It's all adorned in a Greek-style motif of acanthus leaves and swags. This pedestal bowl would be gorgeous as a centerpiece to hold fruit, flowers, etc. Beautiful piece to have on a sofa table, entry way or in the kitchen. Use the zoom feature to see the details.

This pedestal bowl is in good, vintage condition. May have typical signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, possible polish residue, light wear. It appears it may have been lacquered before and not all lacquer has been removed because there are some areas of blushing (see pics). This can be removed with acetone (nail polish remover), or possibly permanent. No obvious damage.
