We do not clear coat these items before shipping as it does not allow paint/marker transfer during signing. Standard sharpie markers work great for signing on your special day. Due to liability purposes WE CANNOT provide a hanger for this to be mounted on a wall. A heavy duty hanger (~$3) can be purchased from a local hardware store and installed.

*NOTE: We use genuine bourbon barrel lids from distilleries in Kentucky. Each lid has a unique design and markings. We sand off the majority of the markings on the face for guests to sign, but there is some variability in each lid. See listing pictures to get an idea of this variability. There will be remnants of distillery stamps present on most heads. Also, the smell of bourbon is also present. There will be slight cracks between the slats, but we discard heads that have too large of gaps.
