A poofy three-dimensional cloud hovers below the pale aquamarine that is full of its own shimmery clouds. A textured bright brass crescent moon and golden stars surround the stone, with fused 24kt gold adorning the stamped stars. On the pendant's bail rests a kinetic brass star, moving and spinning with motion. The backside of the pendant reveals the stone and is further adorned with golden stamped stars; it also has my maker's mark (BLJ). The pendant measures approximately 1.15" tall and 1.15" wide at the widest point. The silver in this piece has been oxidized; the raised points have been polished to shine, while the low points retain the oxidized color to show off the depth and details. All metal used in this piece is sterling silver, with the exception of the brass and 24kt gold.

A few notes on caring for oxidized sterling silver: oxidized patina on sterling silver isn't particularly durable to long-term exposure to water (like bathing or swimming) or a lot of scrubbing, as friction is the way to polish silver to shine. Constant exposure to tasks such as hand washing, bathing, swimming, washing dishes, etc., will slowly wear away the oxidized patina leaving a shiny silver finish.
