Warehouse Clearance Green Watermelon African Trade Beads Necklace Venetian Tool [TRSh7cZw]

A gorgeous African Trade Bead necklace composed of antique watermelon glass beads. The Venetian striped chevron beads are from the late 1800's. These oval beads are a gorgeous green color with stripes and a white and red core. These antique beads were handmade in Venice using traditional bead making techniques and later traded to Africa. The beads are very nicely matched and average in size 15 x 9mm. They are strung on traditional raffia and could be worn as is or used in new creations.

There are a few dings and chips on these antique beads, which add to their beauty and story.
