Here we have a stunning poster by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser for the 1984 Olympics. Let's start with the fact that this amazing visual contains silver and gold mylar insets. A killer touch. It has a presence, no question. I love the detail boxes and swirls. It's a statement piece with no words needed. What can I say, the dude was a master.

Friedrich Stowasser (December 15, 1928 – February 19, 2000), better known by his pseudonym Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hundertwasser, was an Austrian visual artist and architect who also worked in the field of environmental protection.

Hundertwasser stood out as an opponent of "a straight line" and any standardization, expressing this concept in the field of building design. His best known work is the Hundertwasserhaus in Vienna, Austria, which has become a notable place of interest in the Austrian capital, characterised by imaginative vitality and uniqueness.

The rare Olympics poster measures 33 1/2" tall by 24 1/4" wide. There are small pinholes in each of the corners. There are slight creases from use found in multiple places in the body of the poster, However, they weren't seen at first glance. On the reverse there is tape in the corners (see pics).
