Walking through the charming seaside town of Neas Marmaras on the Sithonia peninsula of Halkidiki, on the promenade you will see a beautiful church located on a hillside by the sea. The amazingly beautiful architecture emphasizes the traditional appearance of this Greek village. In the evening at sunset, the sun illuminates the temple in shades of pink and yellow, and the pine tree casts patterned turquoise shadows on the walls of the temple. The radiance of the sun, flashes of light on the sea surface, the ringing of bells, the cheerful cries of seagulls and the church give us a feeling of unprecedented serenity and gratitude for this wonderful spectacle, giving us faith in the best.
