These shifter cables were created for drivers that demand the ultimate shifting performance from the 08-12 Honda Accord EX-L V6 and 13-17 Accord EX-L V6 equipped with a manual transmission. These cables have been dialed in through years of track and street use in our test cars. Hybrid Racing shifter cables are a performance upgrade replacement for stock OEM cables. The solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, & aluminum end links give the Hybrid Racing cables a firmer, tighter feel over OEM cables, resulting in fewer missed shifts and a more connected feel to the chassis. Heat resistant up to 225*F with a max bend radius of 5" (for optimum life). We created a cable to give people peace of mind and improved driving performance when they shift hard and during demanding racing applications, and the Hybrid Racing performance cables achieve this goal! Other notable features of the Hybrid Racing cables are spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (oem are plastic) that are known to break on the OEM cables. All rod ends, and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum, then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo and flair.Are these cables a direct replacement for my OEM Shifter Cables cables? Yes! The aluminum bushings simplify the installation, but more importantly, they eliminate plastic parts that tend to flex on the OEM cables, leading to a sloppy feeling shift. Because these cables were designed with performance applications in mind, there will be an increase in NVH. It is possible that more transmission noise and vibration will be transmitted into the cabin. We also include new hardware for the shifter cable mounting plates that attach to the transmission bracket. You will reuse your OEM center bracket and cable seal.   Be aware that the Accord V6 models utilize different cables than the Accord 4cyl. These cables will not fit any Accord equipped with the K24 engine and manual transmission.
