*Cerakote is a ceramic based coating that is chemical, corrosion, and scratch resistant. The coating is thin and lightweight but resists damage from any sort of accidental impact to the valve cover. Because the coating is very thin, some of the roughness of the factory valve cover may show through or may can be felt in some areas.

- Due to the finish, oil from your fingertips can cause discoloration. This can be removed with a little bit of 70% isopropyl alcohol.
