From a 1970s Herman Miller Fehlbaum production, the fibreglass side chair with a DSS metal stacking base is newly upholstered. Finished with a limited Pendleton tissue, this unique piece has been given a fresh look that combines the snug style of classic Americana with a true staple of modern furniture design for everyday use.

With his Haptiques agency, Felix Engelmann imports brands like Porter Yoshida, or Pendleton. A fan of the famous American brand and a self-confessed chair nut, Felix came up with covering classic Eames designs with special Pendleton wool blankets – and realized this idea at the local workshop of a trusted traditional upholsterer.
