The ASCO Series 8215 is a lightweight gas safety shut-off valve made from aluminum, designed for high flow and low-pressure air or gas applications. Its pilot-operated mechanism functions effectively even at zero pressure differential, featuring resilient soft seating that ensures a secure shut-off. An optional long-life design prevents metal-to-metal contact, potentially extending its lifespan to 20 million cycles. The 215 Series is particularly well-suited for vacuum service and heating equipment applications.

The Series 8215 valves are 2-Way normally closed solenoid valves that operate internally with a pilot mechanism. They are specifically engineered to manage liquefied petroleum gases, such as propane, in both their liquid and vapor forms. The valve bodies are constructed from durable aluminum, while the trim and internal components are crafted from steel and stainless steel. Additionally, Series 8215 valves can be equipped with a general-purpose, explosion-proof, or watertight solenoid.
