Uncommonly early 8x10-inch black and white portrait of the character actor best remembered as goofy, wisecracking comedy writer Buddy Sorrell on T.V.'s "The Dick Van Dyke Show" (1961-1966), boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen during the run of the show, in 1965. The image shows him as Cappy in 1963's Beach Party. In good condition for its age.
