Kingman Rising Phoenix Turquoise Mine located in Northern Arizona in the town of Kingman, Az. The mine is owned by good friends of mine and has been in their Family for generations. Rising Phoenix is the New turquoise Kingman found in the late part of 2019. It is called Rising Phoenix as a name to separate it from other Turquoise. Rising Phoenix comes in Blues, Greens and Browns. The material has that High Grade “Royston” look even though the mines are hundreds of miles apart. I will say this is some of the hardest Natural material Kingman produces. The Son and I do all the cutting work we never farm it out. We are Native American gem cutters, we are registered members of the federally recognized Native American tribe Wichita Indians out of Oklahoma. To be clear “100% NATURAL” it is all turquoise no backing was used If it just says “NATURAL” it is natural and backed with JB Weld. The photos in this listing are taken in natural sunlight on a white background. I do this because any color background except white can alter the colors in the photo. I realize Direct sunlight and white background is the worst possible conditions to photo in. I would rather have you say it looks so much better in hand then be disappointed when you get the stone.
