The Compact Rubes Kit [wSn6O25T] iHORN is made from a brass Compact Rubes Kit [wSn6O25T] horn which was mounted on a Model T.  The oval shaped mounting bracket which bolted to the firewall indicates that the horn was made between 1914 and 1915.  The Compact Rubes Kit [wSn6O25T] horn was connected to a bulb which was inside the cab of the Model T and was squeezed to emit the horn noise.  As originally constructed, the opening of the horn had a screen which kept foreign particles from entering the horn.  Compact Rubes Kit [wSn6O25T] horns are highly collectible and valued in the vintage automobile collector market.  The Compact Rubes Kit [wSn6O25T] iHorn is part of the industrial revolution and early Americana.  It is historic in the manner in which it contributed to the automotive experience.
