The General Electric Voltmeter iHorn is made from a General Electric Company Voltmeter.  The visibile patent marks date it to approximately 1915.  It is wonderfully unique because of its folding nature and size.  It is an immaculately beautiful tool used as a measuring instrument used to measure the current in a circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes. By the late 19th century, improved instruments were designed which could be mounted in any position and allowed accurate measurements in electric power systems.
