Introducing the Whimzy wings! These wings are a design I created for my personal costume for 2023, and I am now offering this design to you! These charming beauties feature 6 panels and 2 antennas! The pictured set was made in ombre kiwi/pumpkin/midnight veining, and skinned in my Dark Embers iridescent film! Mottled inking in ash/copper/Dragon Scale has been applied to the edges for an extra twirl of unseelie mischief. Webs have been incorporated into the veining giving the appearance a friendly spider has made itself at home. Be the most whimsical fairy in these wings perfect for any fae! ~*A LITTLE INFO ABOUT MY WINGS*~
Each pair of wings is made from start to finish in my home workshop! The frames are made with light and durable plastic, and are supported with rigid wire where needed. Standard sized wings will have at least 2 wire supports on each top panel. Iridescent film is applied and reinforced with vinyl to make them tear and puncture resistant! They are light weight and bounce and flutter gently with your body to create life-like wonder! They are also water resistant, so don’t worry about running to hide when it rains!

~*HOW TO WEAR YOUR WINGS*~
All my wings are mounted on a “U” shaped brace wrapped in yarn for comfort! The yarn can be removed or replaced as you see fit! They tuck easily down any supportive garment. Ideally a light duty corset/bodice or fitted garment for standard sized wings. Most wings will stay put with the support equivalent of a bra! So anything from bras, to binders, to bandeaus and corsets will hold them. You can always add straps onto the U brace if you do not have an accommodating backline in your costume. Instructions on how to unfold and wear your wings will be sent along inside your shipment!
