This stunning antique 1920s oyster silk charmeuse gown is the real deal. Made in Italy in the 1920s, this lustrous silk duchess satin is a shimmering shade of oyster ivory, with a tawny sheen and a soft hand. The Venetian lace detailing at the bodice is completely hand-done and the quality of the workmanship is just beautiful.

Condition: Good vintage condition with some wear.
This gown is missing its original belt, however this does not detract from wearability or style. There are some light age spots/staining on the skirt  starting at the bottom (see photos). There are a few age spots throughout on the Venetian lace. A few snags on the silk. Overall, this piece is still very wearable and in good condition for the age. Personally, I love when antiques show their age and have a little patina.
