Created tip to tail by Vermont artist Rachel Laundon. This piece is an original, it is carved from wood and hand-painted using fine art acrylic paints in vivid color and patterns that are fishy but fancified! Each fin is cut from copper roofing that is hammered and oxidized for a rich patina that looks amazing against the painted wood. Each glass eye is carefully hand-painted and layered over either re-puposed antique buttons or other metal hardware.

A perfect fit with any Lake and Lodge decor. The back of each fish painted, signed and dated by the artist and features a hanging wire for easy mounting.
