This piece is an original, it is carved from wood and painted using oil paint mixed with cold wax medium the result is a beautiful textured vintage looking surface with luscious color. The fins are copper that I hammered and oxidized for a nice patina that looks amazing against the waxy surface. I reverse paint clear glass cabochons for the eyes and added a little bling behind it with repurposed metal .

This particular fish would look great above a mantle, swimming in the bathroom, or entry way. A perfect fit with any Lake and Lodge decor. The back of each fish painted, signed and dated by the artist and features a hanging wire for easy mounting.
