I fell in love with doorbells while delivering food on a bike in the French Quarter for 8 years. Before everybody had a cell phone in their pocket, these bells were my only connection to the customer, and I've interacted with these many, many times over the years. I began photographing them in the late '90's and dreamed of one day taking them out of context and blowing them up and putting them onto fabric. I am absolutely thrilled with the results here, and I hope you enjoy them too!
